As technology infrastructure ages, tracking warranty expirations is essential to reduce risk, avoid unexpected downtime, and plan timely hardware replacements. The Hardware Warranty report in provides clear visibility into the warranty status of client devices, helping you identify aging assets, support budget planning, and deliver actionable insights during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) or as needed.
Prerequisites
- Configure at least one of the following integrations:
- Perform organization mapping on the Setup Organizations page. Refer to Performing organization mapping.
Hardware warranty data export
The Device Warranty Lookup page provides detailed, real-time warranty data for Acer, Cisco Meraki, Datto Networking, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and SonicWall devices. From this page, you can export all of an organization's device data to a PDF document or Excel file.

Hardware Warranty section in QBR Report Builder
The Hardware Warranty section in the QBR Report Builder allows you to configure a clear and focused view of specific devices' warranty status, expiration dates, and age within QBR reports. Highlight what is important to your clients to help them stay on top of warranty renewals.

Configuring the Hardware Warranty section

After adding the Hardware Warranty section to a QBR report, use the following options to customize the data:

| Warranty Overview | Select this checkbox to display a summary of device status, including the distribution of devices across each status category. This chart provides a high-level snapshot of overall device health to set context at the top of the report. It is not affected by any filters applied in other settings. |
| Devices | |
| Fields | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more data points to include in the report, such as manufacturer, expiry date, and other device details. These fields are displayed as column headings in the list(s) of devices. Leave this field blank to include all fields in the report. |
| Group devices | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one of the following options to organize devices by headings in the report:
Leave this field blank to organize devices alphabetically in one list. |
| Exclusions | |
| Status | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more warranty statuses to exclude devices with those statuses in the report. Leave this field blank to not exclude any devices with certain statuses. |
| Age group | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more age groups to exclude devices of those ages in the report. Leave this field blank to not exclude any devices of certain ages. |
| Manufacturer | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more manufacturers to exclude devices from those manufacturers in the report. Leave this field blank to not exclude any devices from certain manufacturers. |
| Type | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more device types to exclude devices of those types in the report. Leave this field blank to not exclude any devices of certain types. |
| Location | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more organization locations to exclude devices from those locations in the report. Leave this field blank to not exclude any devices from certain locations. |
| OS | Optionally, from the drop-down menu, select one or more operating systems to exclude devices with those operating systems in the report. Leave this field blank to not exclude any devices with certain operating systems. |
