Auto-completion logic in reviews
myITprocess uses automatic completion logic to streamline the review process, reducing manual steps for the vCIO and allowing more time to be spent on the Strategic Roadmap.
Automatic completion logic applies in the following scenarios:
- When the engineer answers a question as Yes, it is automatically marked as Aligned on the vCIO review. The vCIO does not need to take any action on those questions.
- When the engineer answers a question as No, it appears in the Findings pane on the Strategic Roadmap as an unassigned finding for the vCIO to address.
- If every question in a review is marked as Internal use only, the review is automatically completed and the vCIO will not need to answer any questions.
- Once a finding is archived, if the question did not have an alignment marking, it is automatically marked as N/A in the review.
- Another option for accelerating the review process is the Bulk action feature, which allows the vCIO to apply an alignment marking to multiple questions at once based on the engineer's answers.
When you open a review after the engineer submits, an Aligned Findings pop-up window confirms how many questions were automatically marked as Aligned and indicates that misaligned questions have been converted to unassigned findings. Click View Findings to go directly to the Strategic Roadmap Findings pane for the organization, or close the window to complete the review on the Alignment page.
